i've been wanting to get into open species like protogens and manokits, but i wanted to start smaller since they tend to be pretty restrictive or their species guides are out of date or something, and i've seen people get torn to shreds for not adhering to species rules; as a quite shy and non-confrontational person, i struggle to justify my design choices and find that i get so wrapped up in making sure i'm doing things 'right' that i end up just giving up on open species. but i wanted to try with the drekkubus, since Hamgirl's bases for it are so darn cute.

fullsize front and back views, skull mask, and the basic ref shown here
