I know I'm no superman.

Someday... Someday.

I gave Barra a bit of updated look with her new haircut. This is my life, getting by, day by day, being a mom, being here for her, being here for me. I know we'll make it, and I know I'll never give up. I'm just looking forward to someday.

Maybe I should learn to live in the now?

I'll figure it out one day. :3

Kids....they drive you insane...but you still love em.

i should know..i practically raised my niece and nephews....not my sister and brother-in-laws fault mind you their lives were so hectic with court for this and that and taking one of the kids to a therapy session. they often asked me to watch them and take care of them. an average week for them was about 98% of the week being appointments..the other 2% relaxing time. those kids i feel and treat as if they were my own. that's how close i got to em. i hope to be a mother some day. hell i got enough experience in it...lol

I agree, being a mom is as close to being a superwoman as one can get with out actually having super powers, but they sure would be a help.

Being a parent is hard, single or otherwise. I'm sure I don't really know how you feel, as to I only take care of a 2nd and 4th grader for a couple hours 3 days a week, and I think that's hard! I look up to you and your bravery. Hang in there!

Lol, Last wednesday when I was walking the the church parking lot after prayer meeting I found this small kid shirt that had been lost and I hung it on the post of a sign so it might be more visible so whoever lost it might find it, the writing on it said, "Mommies side kick" and this picture is what instantly shot through my head.
