This past spring my husband and I lost our best friend in a car accident. He was one of our most dedicated DnD players and the most kind and generous soul you could have met.

Since he passed we made it a point to continue playing his campaign with another of our dear friends, as we believe it would be one of the best ways to have closure on his passing.

I love reading back on my notes to relive some of our best moments with his character, Sparky the kobold sorcerer, and now I want to bring more of them to life!

Sparky loved to ride around on my characters shoulders (Diogenes the weretiger paladin) so I thought it would be a cute idea to show a scene like that. Sparky enjoying his fish sticks, and Diogenes with her coffee - both in casual clothes.

I’m already working on the next sketch and plan on doing so many more!
