More traditional art, this one being of an idea some of my Discord friends came up with. An AU for the film Beverly Hills Chihuahua, yeah I have some nostalgic connection to this movie even though I'm really not a big fan of the film

Anyway in this Chloe is a Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican hairless dog) who at first enjoys being dressed and fancied up because she feels less ugly as a hairless dog when she's covered up. But then she visits an ancient temple where she learns that Xolos are actually a sacred breed and learns to accept herself.

While I didn't draw any other characters from the film I still thought of how some of them could fit in this AU. Delgado's role is the same as a former police German Shepherd who helps Chloe get back home, though Papi is an old wise Chihuahua who guards the temple that Chloe explores (and yes his name is still Papi, a variation of the Italian word "papa" which can also mean "pope", which fits for someone living in a sacred place)
