The paw is up so high for a bit of a comical effect. Usually my anthro wears a tank top to cover his belly but he has such a cute fluffy belly that I just want to reach into the page and rub vigorously. I decided to show it.
I absolutely love running. Even though I look nothing like it. I haven't been able to get in a good run for a few months because of a little nasty growth on my paw that's been causing me some pain but, in the world of Fur Affinity, I get to keep running.

The thing on your paw wouldn't happen to be a plantar's wart would it? I had one of those from walking barefoot at a public swimming pool shower. It started out small and I ignored it, but then it was a painful bump only foot and it was hard to walk. When more started popping up on my foot, I finally got something from a dermatologist! It was a clear gel you applied to the area after showering, and it got rid of them sooo efficiently I was like "why didn't I do this sooner?"
It is a Plantar wart. I only have one but it right in the middle of the front part of the foot where my weight would usually be. I had a doctor look at it. He used some kind of freezing stuff on it. I have been using different gels and soaking my foot in Epsom salt. It relieves the pain but it looks like I'm just going to have to wait it out. Non of the medicines or treatments are working. I also have these foam disc things to stick on my foot to keep some of the weight off of it.
Maybe I should mail you the gel I have. It made the skin on it dry and dead so you could start digging away at the skin until you go to the core. Did I mention that it turned my skin clear so I could see a black core? When I could finally pick them out, my food cleared right up. It was gross but kind of fascenating to take something hard out of your foot
I used it once a day, at night before I went to sleep. They say you should take a shower before, but I think its ok if you don't. It took about... A week? Give or take a few days. It was a year ago or so.
Anyways I'll be gone for a whole week, but when I get back home, pull out the gel, make sure it hasn't expired, and check that you still haven't healed yet, I can send it to you!!

I actually have a bump on the bottom of my left paw from stepping on a piece of wood a few months ago. It hurts to walk on it, but at some point, I'll get it checked up by a doctor.
Has the growth on the bottom of your foot gotten better since three months have passed by since then?

I think you have a splinter in your foot. I had a big one in my foot before and had to dig it out with a pin. If your can find it and pull it out of your foot, it'll still hurt for a little bit more time but it'll hurt longer if you leave it in.
My sore finally shrunk up to the point of barely being able to see it. I can now do normal walking and running. I just can't do something like run 10 blocks right now.

I forgot to mention that it wasn't a splinter. I took the peice of wood out the moment it got into my foot, and I remember getting the whole thing out as well.

O.K. This might require a doctor of some kind. It sounds like an infection. It's possible to wait it out but if you want the piece of mind to make sure it'll be O.K., see a doctor. Depending on where you get it looked at and your insurance, it could be expensive. They charged me $300. It's a decision.
