Blud, I swear to you, I just poured rice at random and traced around them. Though it would be fitting seeing how Irish Celtic is a huge inspiration for a part of Grossheim.

Just remember that rivers flow from the mountains, go downhill, and almost never split. Your worlds will feel way more believable if you follow that. You have no idea how often people break them (especially rivers splitting).

Already knew this from my mountain summitings. They can be really inspirational. Though thanks for the river splitting issue, will have to check with my literature teacher on how to handle that.

Remember, there's "splitting," then there's having one river meeting another. ;)
Got me a little book titled How to Draw Fantasy Art & RPG Maps during the course of my own foundational map drawings for Fidonhaal. No doubt there's plenty of other sources, and I'm not looking to meddle in your process if you've got your vision set however far-along already; I just thought I'd give it a shout-out. :)
And of course, another thing to consider is what special events may have happened to explain things that may not follow the normal rules.
