This is the concept of one of the main characters in the new comic named Sting. An anthropomorphic mosquito, or mosquito-man, who successfully pretends to be a vampire, and has a nasty personality in general.
He is obsessed with a thirst for blood, and can drink it in incredible quantities. So to catch his prey he carries a bow and arrows and a pot of poison to put his victims to sleep.
Since only female mosquitoes drink blood, there is a possibility that he is a hermaphrodite. :3
