I love turnabout. It's just so fair and playful.
You might make the argument that we've already established the fact that I'm bigger and stronger than Aurelion Sol. But, have we? Has HE accepted that idea? He's still the same character he always has been in League's canon. He's still a self-worshipping narcissist who would blow up the planet for a grudge that, in his eyes, barely lasted a blink of his lifespan. He still looks down on all other life, assuming them to be lesser than him.
I can't just humble Aurelion Sol once. That's not very fair... nor playful.
I need to humble him again. And again. And again. And again.
Simultaneously. Every version of himself that exists. But that would take at least two hands' worth of effort. Four of him is enough for my current mood.
He will learn what it means to be in the presence of REAL power. His worldview will make that very difficult. It's okay. Three of him have already learned their lesson. I accept their apologies.
I don't mind if the fourth doesn't want to make an offering to me today. Maybe I'll play with him again another day. Or maybe I'll find another would-be-apocalyptic god to use for my amusement. There's plenty of fish in the celestial sea... and I love the flavor of fish.
