I'm posting this now cause I didn't want to wait till Veteran's Day.
This is my dad and one of his buddies at the nursing facility. The gentleman on the right is Col. Ferris, he is 98 and a West Point graduate (one of three surviving from his class). A tank commander he lost his tank and almost his leg and was briefly captured by the Germans during WW2.
Since this photo was taken a few weeks ago both men have had health setbacks but like something out of a 60's era Timex commercial, they 'took a lickin and keep on ticking'.
