The rain passed. The clouds were gone, the blue sky opened up, and although the heavy mist on the horizon was present thanks to the humidity in the air, the weather was good again and the mares were quick to leave the wooded shelter and return to the fields, but there was one thing different: mud. Zapper and Faline had never seen it before, but were quick to start playing with it. Zapper, particularly, only after much urging from his zealous mother and Faline's endless invitations.

It didn't take long for the two of them to get covered in it, but they were so cheerful and having so much fun – and finally getting along for the first time – that no one dared to care a single bit. The only one who seemed to be upset was Mr. Toad. Seesh, children...
