Kolsch is a crisp, light ale and the first of the third series I painted. I used lizards and deserts as inspiration for Kolsch's design. I love working with the super bright Opera Pink, but used a glaze of plum to cool down the shadowed areas on its wings.

I also... forgot to start on the background until halfway in, so it was a bit of a challenge to work on that without having it spill into and muddy other areas.
