I figured it was time to establish what the Crux Omnimatrix is and the morph augment that makes strallows possible. So, this is a bit of a lore dump. Enjoy.

INSTALLATION OF THE CRUX OMNIMATRIX

Stage 1: Antecedent (forearm is bare)
Stage 2: Infusion (a solution of glowing nanites is injected into forearm)
Stage 3: Integration (the glowing nanites spread in the forearm and glow as a symbol appears)
Stage 4: Ascendant (the glow is gone and a gray, metal symbol is present on the forearm)

When first injected, the omnimatrix causes the forearm to glow as the nanites embed the matrix, establishing a connection with the body, and initializing the tool. This painless yet mesmerizing experience lasts for several hours.

Once ascendant, a semi-metallic, organic symbol is left behind, signaling the omnimatrix is ready to be used.

The Omnimatrix is a consumer technology implanted into the wrist. It provides various applications to the user and is completely customizable, including the color of the interface. Different omnimatrix models are provided to accommodate individual desires and needs.

Main Symbol: Standard for all omnimatrix users. (symbol is a circular design with a stylized cross within the circle)

Crowned Symbol: Given to users authorized to influence other users. (same as main symbol but with a outer spiked edge)

The omnimatrix is powered by the user’s internal bioelectricity and excessive use can completely exhaust the user.

The model is determined automatically by the internal AI, but can be set manually if desired.
