I like to eat dinner at my favorite restaurant everyday and today I had a weird encounter with the owner. He thanked me for buying so much food to help financially support them during their troubling times. He told me that they’re doing great now though so he doesn’t need me to buy as much and even offered to help lose the weight I’ve gained. Gosh this is embarrassing, have I really been eating that much! How do I let him know I didn’t even know they were financially struggling, I just like to eat lots of sweets.
