Another possible vehicle for a RP.

It is a testbed for a relatively not so new idea for propulsion, to see how fast a manned 'air breathing' craft can fly.

Most information is classified, but it takes off using 4 liquid fueled rockets. these rockets are fueled by a conform drop tank, allowing the craft to get to a safe altitude and eject the rockets and fuel tanks, allowing the main engine to engage.

This vehicle has achieved 6,089MPH (Mach 8), at an estimated 25% main engine utilization. Scientists believe the Mach 10 range can be broken at 50% utilization.
