Another little project that I did last summer. PLEASE NOTE: I never leave my dogs outdoors unattended. These photos were taken on a hot summer day, and I was right there with them. They weren't out for long, when it's that hot out I only let them out/walk them long enough for them to do their business & play a little. The point of this poster is for those poor dogs that are left outdoors 24/7, often with little to no shade or shelter, in extreme temps. When I was a kid there was a husky in my neighborhood that was kept outdoors year round. He had a tiny dog house and a carton of green puke water...and he was kept on a short chain. I was just about 8 at the time, and didn't know what I could do. I used to walk around and visit him almost daily, his owner never cared...the ass wasn't home a lot anyway. I used to take Leon (the husky) jugs of fresh water & treats and would play with him as much as I was able, considering he couldn't reach very far on his short chain.

You should see my Zoe when were outside in mild warm weather and she starts chasing her disc (frisbee).
Man she starts panting and her whole tongue comes out of her face.
Its awesome cause she looks so happy and goofy, but of course I always carry water on me when we go for walks (shes slowly learning how to drink from a water bottle), and i always give her drinks and MAKE her rest when i know shes getting really tired.
If I didnt make my dog rest, shed probably run herself ragged!
