Lady Yuki Kifujin is a mysterious and secretive figure, This probably wasn't even her original name, it is just an Alias that literally describes her meaning "Snow Noblelady". Rumor has it she rose from the unburied grave of a noblewoman whose family were once very wealthy prosperous, until they were betrayed by somebody who envied their fortune. They were accused of treason, brought to the sword, and executed by their lord.
Lady Yuki is certainly after somebody, but she will never tell anybody explicitly one way or the other. Most believe she is after the merchant who sold out her family or the noble lord and their family who executed hers in retribution for her death, though maybe the rumors have some truth to them but the details are misinterpreted?
