Dina (witch hat) and her best friend Duggie (legless) are eternal Trick-or-Treaters.
Halloween night is one of the few nights they can interact with people as they pretend to be living children and go door to door asking for candy.
They can't really eat the candy themselves, they leave it on the gravestones of deceased children and adults who have no family left to care for their plots or have forgotten them.
They sometimes also appear for Day of the Dead and for Obon, leaving food and hot drinks for the living to place on their ofrendas/altars.
