Standing at attention in the yard of the Sentinel fort, Renae's eyes glance left and right.
Close to her is the gleaming blue armour of her bandmates, further away the more matted tones of the other warbands.
She grins wider.
Brand warband earned the right to change their armour dyes to their liking, and had voted for a deep, dark blue.
And so they stand out from the others - Veterans among their kind.
More than half of them serving the Sentinels since their foundation seventeen years ago.
Having faced every possible foe the cursed earth could throw at them, again and again.
The most dangeorus posting a Charr could have in all of Ascalon.

And yet, they are still here.
Still standing.

The banner bearing the brown and red with crossed swords flutters in the wind behind her, and Renae's chest swells with pride.
The same symbol displayed prominently as a badge on her scarf.
We are the Sentinels. And we will never falter.
