Yep, my Conkeldurr girl from this sketch: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5664473/
Ruthie McCormick is the oldest of three children and despite her appearance she is more brains than brawn; well, more likely brains who constantly forgets her brawn. ^_^
When Ruthie was a young Timburr, her parents were shocked when she constantly picks up a book instead of a plank. This especially displeased her father, a Conkeldurr who is a battler himself, and tried to get her into training immediately. Ruthie's mother (a Machamp) managed to talk him out of it and told him to give her some time.
As Ruthie turned eight, her father put her and her younger brother into training after school from learning their moves to strength training. Although the training is at least an hour-long each day (the father had to take it easy), the then young Timburr didn't like it one bit, so she sometimes sneak off into the library once she had the opportunity even with a heavy 2X4 she was forced to carry around. Although she was getting strong physically, she still takes her studying very seriously even after her eventual evolution.
Despite being enrolled in the PCA along with her brother, Ruthie showed little interest in battling and prefers to pursue academically, much to her father's displeasure. Being a nerd, it was no surprise that she was constantly picked on by bullies and because she sometimes forgets her physical strength, they often get nasty surprises. Even a hole she accidentally punched into a wall is enough of a warning.
