Keiko loves cooking, but people think that she goes a little bit overboard when it comes to micromanaging or controlling every aspect of it. Yes, growing your own herbs to ensure quality, is normal enough. But putting on long rubber gloves to prevent any splashes or spills from staining her knitted sweater or putting on a full gas mask when she works with unions, most people would see that as going a bit overboard.
Nevertheless, In the early evening, in the calm BCPU station, Lieutenant Keiko was standing in the kitchen wearing full gear. She was making something to eat for the few colleagues who were still at the station after a long day of fighting crime. As she approached the cutting board, the onions sat there, seemingly innocent, but she knew better.
“You think you can bring tears to my eyes? Not today!” she said, touching the gas mask on her face. “You see, I came prepared!”
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Sergeant Kim walked in.
"What in the world, Keiko?" she exclaimed, a smirk spreading across her face as she took in the absurd scene before her. "Are you cooking dinner or cleaning a chemical spill?"
Keiko turned to look at Kim, waving her knife while trying to explain herself. "These onions could be lethal, Kim! I can’t risk it. Besides, safety first, right?"
Kim chuckled, leaning against the doorframe. "You do realize you’re not dealing with a dirty bomb, right? Just an onion."
"But what if it was?" Keiko shot back, trying to hide her laughter as she realized how ridiculous the scene must look. “You know how they can be!”
Kim rolled her eyes but couldn’t help but laugh. "You’re taking this way too seriously, Lieutenant. It’s just dinner, not an operation."
“Just let me do my thing, Kim,” Keiko said as she continued to slice the unions. “trust me it will be worth it in the end.”
“Sure, sure,” Kim said as she walked out of the kitchen.
Now back in the eating area, Kim could only shake her head in amusement, but deep down, she knew just how dedicated and talented Keiko truly was. After all, her dedication to safety equipment allowed her to safely and successfully carry out all her previous missions. So perhaps, just perhaps, a little overboard was exactly what it took to be a great BCPU agent.

Once again I am very grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response to the last poll. However, a funny thing happened and the three artwork options ended up being tied. In light of this, I have decided just to make all three artworks starting with this one.
When I finish and post the third artwork, I will include another poll with 3 new and fresh ideas, as I do need a little time to think of those ideas. Therefore, any suggestions for general themes, scenarios, etc. would be very helpful.
