Buttercup: We're playing PRETEND, right?


Blossom: Right.


Buttercup: Well, I'm PRETENDING to be Blossom.


Blossom: W-well...you can't!


Buttercup: Why not?


Blossom: Because...you were playing the monster!


Buttercup: Well, now I'm playing Blossom.



Ah, I love the Powerpuff Girls. I ended up rewatching one of my favorite episodes: 'The Powerpuff Girls' Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever' and did a bit of a redraw of my favorite scene (with the Fusionfall designs) where the girls play pretend and Buttercup pretends to be Blossom.


In the show, Buttercup just puts on Blossom's bow. But, I thought it'd be funny for her to wear Blossom's outfit (complete with a different shade of pink). I mean, they have super speed, Buttercup could totally do a complete change in a snap into one of her sister's spare outfits just to facilitate their pretend game.


Though, with the Fusionfall designs aging them up, maybe this is for some immersive LARP or tabletop game. But, wouldn't that be meta? Superheroes playing something like Mutants & Masterminds and playing as each other's supersonas. XD
