I was doodling some warrior-like faces, putting medieval helmets on them, and it got me thinking about the ear position on helmet for anthros. Did a rough sketch based on this (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1099/2326/files/us-marine-helmet-tactical-headset_480x480.jpg?v=1631812137) and position the headset to where the anthro ear would be, and extended the helmet cover to where a human ear would be.

Yes I put night vision goggles, flashlight, and sunglasses on them at the same time, don't ask me why.

In the arm-race of an anthro based world the helmet development (along with other equipment) would probably be drastically different from ours. how would they allow soldiers hear better without drastically compromising the protection property? What designs of face shields would they use to protect their protruding faces? Despite it's all hypothetical/fictional it's still fun to think about.
