In my Pokemon Scarlet game I decided to give all of the pokemon on my team names from Nahuatl (Aztec) as a sort of inside joke because Paldea is based on Portugal and Spain combined, and the Aztec Empire was conquered by the Spanish Conquistadors. So my Team are in a sense the Aztec Empire coming back to conquer the Iberian Peninsula. So I decided to draw member of my team dressed in Aztec inspired Outfits!

Xolotl the Clodsire is named after the Aztec God by the same name Xolotl the Guide Dog of the Underworld who lends his name to the animal Axolotls. Xolotl has been a mainstay member of my team thanks to his special ability Water Absorb meaning he is not only immune to water but Water also heals him, and as a ground type he's also immune to Electric attacks. 2 immunities is not easy to come by.

Tapayaxin the Quagsire gets his name directly from the Nahuatl word for Salamander. I put away most of my party from Paldea so I could make a whole new team from the Kitakami area in the Teal Mask DLC which is where I found and added Tapayaxin to my team.
