I started to draw and realized that I didn't really have much practice trying to go with a certain character's face. So in order to do things right, I had to go through the normal amount of recognition and emotional exercises to get used to drawing her. The body was easy. The face took quite a bit of time to sculpt properly. These are the six or so that I felt best came close to what I wanted to go for with a more chubby raccoon chick's face.

I had to go out of my way to make her my own in some respects in order to emote in some instances. Can't just copy whats out there already.
