It was a warm, summer day as Yosh, the dino-duckling, and his friend, Lucca, the lion, were out and about shopping with Yosh’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O’Ducky, on a downtown adventure to see all the wonderful local businesses.
“Ice cream?” wondered the diaper-clad, dino-duckling as he saw a sign for Charm’s Soda Shop.
“This place must be new,” remarked Yosh’s father, Duckers. “I think I’d remember if a place like this were here in our little town.”
“Ice Cream…?” Yosh wondered as he marveled at the neon lights that glowed brilliantly above a picture of an ice cream cone that had one scoop of vanilla, one scoop of chocolate, and one scoop of strawberry on top of it.
“What do you think, Lucca?” Yosh’s mother, Mellony, asked. “Would you like some ice cream?”
Lucca turned towards Yosh to see the dino-duckling starting to wiggle and wobble in ways that meant more sugar may not necessarily be the right thing for him to have at this time.
“I can definitely tell Yosh is excited for some ice cream,” the yellow-feathered, papa duck stated.
“Hold up a second,” the green-colored, Yoshi mother said. “It says here that they don’t accept debit, or credit cards?”
“Not to worry,” assured Duckers. “I believe there was an ATM only about a block away from here.”
“Ice cream!” chirped Yosh as he began to pull his father’s hand towards the front door of the soda shop.
“Lucca?” asked Mr. O’Ducky as he struggled to keep hold of his diaper-clad son. “Do you think you could keep an eye on Yosh for a few minutes while we go back to get some money?”
Lucca gave a look of concern.
“I suppose…,” he replied.

Once inside, Yosh and Lucca were greeted by the shop’s owner, Charms.
“Someone looks a bit excited to have some special ice cream?” he remarked while watching how Lucca was putting forth quite an effort to keep Yosh from running amok in the store.
“Do you have any highchairs?” asked Mrs. O’Ducky as she entered into the retro-themed establishment.
“Right over there,” Charms directed.

Yosh’s mom was successful in getting her son into a highchair while finding Lucca a booster seat so that the young lion could be at level with the table.
“Here you go!” announced Charms as he brought out a tray that held two bowls of ice cream on it.
“ICE CREAM!” cheered Yosh as he began to flail about happily in his highchair upon seeing the sweet treat of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry that was before him. “Gimme!”
“Sweet Berry!” called Mr. O’Ducky from the store’s entrance. “I can’t seem to find our bank card!”
“Oh, Duckers,” the mother sighed as she stepped away from the table to help her husband.
“Ungh!” groaned Yosh as he found himself unable to reach the bowl of ice cream that was laid a short distance in front of him. “Ice cream! Ice cream!”
BAM!
BAM-KLANG!
“…,” Lucca gasped as he noticed Yosh starting to kick his feet from beneath the table. Not only was the green-and-white colored dino-duckling causing quite a commotion, but he was also making the tray of treats shake upon the table’s top as his highchair began to bounce back an inch, or two.
“ICE CREAM!” bellowed Yosh as he managed to get the highchair to move back enough to free his foot from underneath the table.
SLAM!
“Yosh’s mom!” Lucca called out upon seeing the dino-duckling start to wail and flail with a foot that was dangerously close to knocking off the tray of treats.
“Golly,” remarked Charms as he took in the sight. “I never saw someone so excited for my ice cream before.”

Fortunately, Mrs. O’Ducky heard Lucca’s call for assistance amidst her son’s over-the-top reaction towards being fed ice cream. This managed to quell the situation as Yosh, for the most part, remained calm as Lucca was able to enjoy her ice cream in peace.

aww lucca looks so cute wearing his green shirt his red overalls and his cute diaper yoshi looks so cute wearing his white shirt his blue overalls and his cute diaper while yoshi and his friend lucca were with yosh's parents to get some ice cream from charm's soda shop let's hope yosh doesn't make a mess when eating or his parents well have to give him a bath afterwards when they get home super adorable and yummy too

You know, I never did consider how Mr. and Mrs. O'Ducky would handle Yosh after he got a bunch of ice cream on himself as a result of eating with so much excitement. He'll definitely need a bath when he gets home. Hopefully, Lucca doesn't end up getting hit with any ice cream that may get flung by the eager dino-duckling. :)
