One of my more ambitious painting projects. The Harpy is one of my favorite mythological creatures. I prefer my harpies to be monstrous or hag-like in some aspect (I was quite enamored with the dungeon units in heroes of might and magic 3,) although in this illustration there is some contrast between something beautiful and horrifying at the same time.
