Since at least ONE person wanted me to expand a little on these Saiyan Girls, I figured I would. Though don't expect much from me, lol.


Since Dragon Ball now exists in a multiverse, I like to think these girls exist in a timeline where the Saiyans weren't all wiped out by Frieza on that dark day. How it happened, I'm still working the kinks out. But thinking Frieza didn't kill ALL of the Saiyans, just culled their numbers. The Saiyans would be considered an endangered species, but not quite wiped out - and with their reproductive technology, COULD replenish their numbers in a few generations if Frieza allowed it.


Which he wouldn't. He keeps a close eye to make sure they're nice and manageable.


Regardless of why or how, these five are part of Saiyan Squad 78 - a reliable faction of the Saiyans that, while not on the same level as, say, the Ginyu Force or the higher up in Frieza's army. They're known for their impressive track record of successful planet conquering in the name of the Frieza Force.

Leader - Tohta (Woman in the middle): We talked about her briefly in the last pic, but let's review: she's the ruthless leader of Squad 78. She takes great pleasure in her job: killing, slaughtering, and wiping out "inferior species". Her loyalty is only to herself and King Vegeta - and Lord Frieza of course. As a member of the Saiyan Elite, she prides herself in her strength and hopes to one day be chosen as the bride of Prince Vegeta.


Don't get it twisted; it's not out of love or admiration. But instead, she wants to secure her standings in the Elite cast. As the daughter of two Low Class Saiyans, who were deemed only worthy of prepping food and space pods, Tohta fears losing what little power and authority she has and seeks to rise up the ranks and become Saiyan Royalty through marriage - the highest station a Saiyan can hope for.


To that end, she'll work dutifully to conquer more worlds and keep her squad mates alive. Not because she cares for them - not truly. But because she sees them as useful tools.


In terms of raw power, she'd be about as strong as Vegeta was during the Saiyan Saga, if not slightly weaker. Like, if the two were to fight, Vegeta would win, but it wouldn't be easy. Her favorite technique is what she calls the 'Saiyan Sword', where she forms a sword made from her energy.


Second in Command - Choy (Woman with the scar): Tohta's faithful right-hand and the only member of the squad she trusts. Choy is a stoic Mid-Class Warrior who honestly detests the Saiyan way of life. She only does the job because otherwise, she'd be killed or be seen as less than nothing.


Choy secretly seeks to escape from under the oppressive thumb of Frieza, but knows that desertion would lead to her execution - if not by Tohta, then by Frieza's various goon squads. So she patiently bides her time. She resents Tohta for her strength and ruthlessness, but she knows better than to openly confront her. She hates taking life needlessly, but tries to at least do it quickly if she has to and spare as much as she can without tipping off her masters.


In terms of raw power, she's strong enough to fight and defeat Nappa - though if they did fight, then Choy might lose a limb. Her signature technique is called 'Double Buster', where she fires two ki blasts from her open palms. Typically, this is a short-range technique in a wide, spread shot similar to a shotgun.


Jinjer (on Tohta's Right): The weakest member of the squad. This Low-Class Saiyan is hungry for two things: battle and aliens. If you're not a Saiyan and not doomed to die, then she wants you in her bed. She practically drools for Zarbon and would jump if he told her to.


Aspara (on Tohta's Left): The Starscream to Tohta's Megatron (or, she would be if Choy wasn't 2nd in command). Aspara is bitter and angry at everyone and she takes it out on her victims - and the Saibaman if she's cooped up for too long. Aspara openly tried to kill Tohta and continuously challenges her. The first time, Tohta made sure to put Aspara in her place by taking her eye. The threat of taking her other eye keeps her in check.


Reppep (far left): The embodiment of a cat playing with her food. Reppep is a true sadist. Whenever there's stragglers in their invasions, she takes great joy in hunting them down and tormenting them. If she finds you, she won't just kill you - she'll give you a few chance to run, knowing she can track you down with her scouter. She wants to watch hope die in your eyes before she finally puts you out of your misery.


Collectively, Jinjer, Aspara, and Reppep are about tied with each other. The three of them are basically the mini-boss squad Piccolo handles in some of the movies~ Whether that means they're each 1/3 as strong as Piccolo or if they're just a few points below his power level, you can decide. Either or, Piccolo can whoop all three of them.
