an act of incomprehensible violence
it's just all shitpost doodles right now rip
the hidden joke is one of chimmering's semiotic signs is rain so the puddle is technically chimmering within their island so this is actually stomping on chimmering :thatsthejoke:

Question: if one of Chimmering's signs is rain specifically but not water in general, how many steps removed from rain does water have to get before it stops being Chimmering? A puddle is Chimmering. Is the ocean Chimmering? If S/V drank from the puddle, would they have Chimmering inside them?
chimmering is a very specific type of rain
autumn season only, between 6am to 6pm, full cloud coverage but still fairly well lit, uniform lighting with no shadows, no lightning/thunder, temperature between 50-70F/10-21C, above a light drizzle but below a downpour, puddles accumulating but not flooding, light wet surfacing on everything
for comparison, s/v is also a specific type of snow
winter only, between 1am to 4am, full cloud coverage without individual clouds visible, full moon's light diffusing through the cloud layer, snow already existing everywhere reflecting ambient light and providing a solid ground cover without being higher than 12 inches, gentle snow quantity (not a blizzard or a dusting, but a steady consistent downfall), temperature just at the edge of not-freezing
