I was going to simply describe them in the comment of their drawing,
but it somehow turned into an uncontrollable blob of text. XD

re-read and thought about things. :O
here are my few things i'd like to point out:
One thing that kind of stood out was that the 'abundance of magic' made the Ley normally kind and generous etc. I'd think that while they may be influenced to be a very kind creature, it'd be more due to their surroundings and their upbringing. Like how true traditional indian people would raise their children to respect the earth, but some still are too overly influenced by others outside of their family and become less and less connected.... ya know?
I absolutely LOVE your definition of magic. How it comes from the earth itself and is absorbed through the feet, and how it creates the Ley themselevs, and if there are no Ley, the earth will build up enough magic to create one... that is artful and beautiful.
I wasn't sure about the light colored hair/fur due to the magic... but i absolutely loved that turning into a Wry stained your hair because of the lack of the magic. @.@ I was clashing with myself on that. xD
Personally, i wonder what a Ley's ears would look like before it has a self immage of him/herself... I could imagine the Ley of a certain family would have their parent's ears, just because it's what they're used to seeing... I love the thought of Ley's with fox, dragon, horse, or even human ears, but i wonder how it truly would come to be that they'd be different than their parent. :O
And finally, i also love the no belly button thing. x3 dunno why, it's so cute and neat and interesting!!
All in all, i love the Ley. <3

I like how they are magical creatures, akin to both druids and unicorns. It's an interesting fact. I find it cool that they have an abundance of personal magic, are very kind, & that they are caring, generous and benevolent creatures. I like the part with the magic. How it's different & all that. How the magic comes from the earth itself and is absorbed through the feet, and that it creates the Ley themselves in the process, and if there are no Ley, the earth will build up enough magic to create one... that is a very artful and beautiful idea you came up with. It's very cool that the Earth can create more of them should they die.
I find the concept of their horns quite remarkable.
It's interesting how Ley are not easily corrupted from their noble intentions.
That they are able to lie and steal, & even kill if they feel it's for a justified reason and/or cause.
I Dislike how a wry & ley are unable to reproduce however. It's sad it's like that. Makes me wonder if there's a way to fix that either through magic or a wish.

It seems pretty solid. you've left no niche whatsoever for me to latch on to properly.
what' peculiar is that the horn 'may split during the times when a Ley is emotionally troubled and either intertwines or FALLS off'?
the falling off part seems very peculiar to me because despite being a discarded trauma, it still holds a part of a Ley soul which is, in my opinion, something scared and powerful...
Does anything happen to it? does it retain magic in a solid form or does it return to the earth in order to become new fuel? if it retains it's form, i guess you could make charms or even small wands with it? but being pure creatures... would that make it an abnormality of the purity? would it be considered a tainted magic of sorts?
Also.. creatures with so much power drawn in the earth... You'd think somebody would abuse their good nature for something like this. the limits of their magic... Can they reach many artes? mend grave wounds? cure the deadliest of plagues? Can they bring the dead back to life? reverse the flow of nature itself? preserve a life which is not their own? breathe life into the unliving? toy with the flow of temporal laws? can they imbue items with magic? it feels very dangerous to just rely on the noble nature of these creatures.
