*Gem sat on the grass watching the boys as she hugged her tail, and sucked on her dummy. Her mommy had dropped her off for a playdate but she didn't know these cubs and she was stupidly shy. They had been kind and gentle to her but she had been stubborn and wouldn't join in their games, not because she didnt want to but because she was scared they would suddenly unlike her. The closest she had gotten to actually playing had been rummaging around the dress up box and putting on a nurses outfit she had found. Osee had already claimed the firemans outfit and Gem admired how red and shiney his hat was, from her place on the grass.

The boys had been concerned that Gem hadn't wanted to play and so Ashurah Osee and Siddy put their heads together and came up with a plan.
Gem couldn't hear what they were talking about, she wasn't close enough, and she felt scared that maybe they were talking about her in a mean way. She clutched at her tail tighter as the three boys broke their little secret circle talk and went back to playing. They played for about ten minutes quite happily and then Ashurah drove his playcar into Siddy.
Osee giggled
"NURSE NURSE YOO GOTTA HELP" He yelled as Siddy rolled around on the floor pretending to be injured.
All thoughts of fear vanished from Gem as she scrambled up onto her paws and rushed over, her natural instinct to help overcoming her shyness. As she approached she realised that Siddy wasn't actually injured but she pulled a bandage out of her pocket and began to wrap it round him anyway.
"'s'okay..yoor okies" She muttered helpfully through her pacifier, as she continued to wind the bandage aroound a giggling Siddy.
Soon all four of them were engrossed in playing together, gems initial shyness completely forgotten. The boys plan had worked.
