Belz and Sargie never believed Garnet's claims of being a knight, or ever being an adult at all. She's become aware they find her dutiful and obedient nature concerning. While part of her wants to leverage this to convince them of who she truly is, they have treated her with such kindness that she can't bear to make them worry about her.

In an effort to be more kid-like, she pops by Frollick's, Lumiet's local toyshop. The sheer amount of plush dolls and little figures is overwhelming, for she had only owned a single toy in her life, and even then only when she was a baby, prior to being placed in the care of the knights' compound.

What do girls her age like?

She's lost on what to choose, or what she would even do with it should she decide. The bird is enticing; it's cute and reminds her of the nicest people she's met since her death.

The little knight will be here deciding for a while. Hopefully the clerk isn't annoyed.
