I cannot be the first person to have thought of that joke, commercials seems to take place in this weird pararell universe where there's a huge community of spam enthusiasts, whrere microwave food actualy looksl ike on the box and women excrete some kind of strange blue liquid every month.

It's bewildering, since presumably the products are being sold in the real world, where people never get hamburgers larger that a medium-sized lid for a jar of jam, where toy cars never seem to make the loop-thing and wee the only people who actually like spam are me and two other people who will undouptly burn my apartment complex down because I just insulted spam....
