Commissioned from  foxene by  laurenrivers and posted with permission. I don't think I can write a better story to go with it, so here is the one she wrote.

Lauren had come across a mysterious bracelet in her travels. It seemed to be made of unremarkable metals, by all accounts it was just another trinket. The craftsmanship was amazing, though, and she thought it might be worth keeping as a memento. She brought it home with her and set it on the counter.

Liane stopped by to visit and gave the zebra a hug before noticing the object. She picked it up and looked it over carefully as she found a piece of paper carefully tucked against the inside of the bracelet. She unfolded it and shook her head. "It's some funny language. Nice bracelet, though." The rabbit proceeded to slip it on her wrist and modeled it, thinking maybe the zebra would let her keep it.

Lauren let the bunny wear it for a while as she examined the paper that her companion had uncovered. She tried to read it aloud and sounded out the words. After she had read the handwriting as best she could, she got dizzy a moment, and felt warm and rubbed her eyes as her vision blurred.

Suddenly she shook her head and flexed her toes... TOES??? She moved to whinny, but no sound came out. Her vision slowly returned to normal, and she realized she was looking at herself! "I'm... You're.... Why am I over there??"

Liane looked at her hands in curiousity as she came to the same realization. "You're me!"

"I'm in your body and you're in mine! Do you feel okay?" Lauren asked.

"I think so...." Liane moved about in her zebra body, getting used to the hooves and the longer tail, her muzzle being long and ebony furred. She looked at her own body curiously and watched 'herself' wiggle her toes and gently tug on her long ears. She realized that Lauren had never had toes to wiggle nor long ears before. She was no doubt used to being in another form, having been turned male once before, but it was still very odd!

Lauren looked at the bracelet. "I... Do you think we're stuck this way?"

"Maybe it works in reverse...." Liane looked at the spell. "Though.... We could try it later, if you want to mess with some of our friends..."

"Us in each other's bodies? I.... That does sound fun... When does Dani get off work?" Lauren asked devilishly.
