Ahoy!

Behold, my new avatar!

While the donut doggo was amazing, this one really makes me happy haha. It reminds me of my older avatars and how it's almost a modern version of them all with my new abilities as an artist.

At first I just wanted Reede to be looking up facing the viewer at an angle, once I drew his face all up close I had fo give him a wide open smile looking at the viewer!

I love how happy he looks, and this is one of those drawings where I can really feel the 3Dish effect of Reede's happeh face. It looks like I can squish his cheeks, pet his ears, boop his snout, and even get a lick from his blepper <3

Plus shading too, always trying to get better at it. I wanted to include two tones for the shading but I cant get it to look right so I opted to just delete it.

And thick lines again! Super dope and it makes Reede look adorable ha.

Now every time you look at my avatar, you get a smiling doggo peering into ya probably asking for pets or food, probably food haha.

I will use this time to also say that I am working on the rest of the sketches for my comic, and will be inking them soon/coloring! I wanted to wait till they were done however given I want to upload more than 1 panel all at the same time, it would probably be best to just upload these 6 drawings before than waiting to upload them all together.

I've done that before where I waited till a group of drawings were done before I posted them, it's just super hard to work on the rest of the backlog knowing I have completed artwork sitting there waiting to be seen. Plus it makes me rush to get them all out, and that's not good.

Also there will be more than just the comic, so stay tuned :D
