I did this pretty much only to use a Sofia Jannok song in one of my drawing process videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A-Vqil5zbk it's inspired by a comment she madein her blog "It is time to return to the birch-leaf madness, that is, life". If you've been at my place during authumn, you know EXACTLY what she's talknig about.
What is this kind of sleigh called? you see it in sweden a lot in the winter, I thought at least my alaskan friend would know a word for it, but most she could muster is that it's like a dog-sleigh, only without the dogs. Fair enough I guess, but we call it a spark, which meas "kick" since you kick it forward, unless of course you glide down a slope, which is fun, but not a good idea. No breaks, no real way to steer it, goes quite fast downhill, I could totally see Calvin use this thing and run off a cliff.
