There are practical reasons why it's said to cover your mouth when yawning and it's not simply about civility and good manners.
And I'm sure flies have some bug-given laws in regards to flying and texting but that's on them.

This genuinely looks like a drawing you would see in a public place in Japan as a sign warning passerby of numerous flies or bugs and to be careful not to accidentally inhale one when passing through XD
I love the motion lines behind the fly, like the zig zag and shake lines around it - like you can easily 'animate' in your head as you look at it and that's rad!
I like how Athos is mid yawn, heard a buzzing sound, opened up an eye and sees a fly just shooting past right in the in direction of his open muzzle XD
If it were me and my tongue touched one of those things, I would drink the mouthwash rather than spit it out haha.
The tape will help until the spiders start going into your nostrils instead :P

Maybe with an anime character, but I wonder if anywhere it occurs often enough that a sign is required. If it IS required it's probably a sign of deeper issues or suicidal flies!
I'm glad you think so about the dashes, that was the idea to show the quick zip zap of the fly and how it happens too fast to notice its trajectory and before Athos realizes it it's too late. Even the fly didn't notice in time!

If flies are offing themselves by shooting themselves into danger, then either the surrounding area is super duper clean or something is extremely wrong XD

It happened to me once when jogging, followed by the gagging. No idea what it was though but I'm still alive. I always wondered if a tail would help swat away the bugs like when on a picnic.
