If it's what feels right to you, then I'd say it's something that's worth investigating at least. I certainly don't see any reason why biology should dictate your identity, and I think the most important thing is how you feel in yourself. I wish you luck in exploring this aspect of yourself and that you'll be happy and content within yourself.
