Ironically, the only character so far that's in the Gaiusverse that's not in the main Gaius storyline XD

Sasha Nightglow is a vampire hunter with favorable reputation but not world-renowned. It would be her great-great-great grandfather who earned that title, for he invented the many types of lanterns and lamps that now line the streets of the Empire and beyond. Wouldn't be for a few generations that their family would learn to use some of these lamps as tools against the undead horde, and become vampire hunters in business.
Though in Sasha's case, she has plenty more stuff to learn but has learned enough to start a smoking habit due to having to deal with the same aristocratic clowns over and over and over.
In her story, she's sent to the Empire's capital where a section of the city has been quarantined due to a powerful vampire influence, in a sorta who-done-it case she must investigate.
She understands how vampires work to a degree, and despite her annoyances, displays compassion for those who just want to lead a normal simple undead life and swear of delusions of grandeur. It's those cases where she takes the afflicted and vampire lords to a remote settlement run by a vampire church headmistress who oversees that these folks can live life free and unharnessed by the Empire's edit for destruction of the undead.
