This is my shiny Archeops, Petrie from my white game, I love him. He was my first shiny I ever have gotten. I was breeding them so I could have a lower level on my team and SHIT I GOT A SHINY. He is awesome and better than you.

The very first Totodile I hatched in HG when I started breeding a baby from Platinum was shiny, too. 8D I went through several Ekans though cause I was breeding Crunch, Poison Jab and Earthquake on several of my mons.
I also remember looking for a Starly in HG when I found out where they were, and the first tree I headbutted had a purple Wurmple. :3 She is now a shiny Dustox. <3
Man though, the very first shiny I found was a Wooper.
In the Great Marsh in Platinum.
It ran away.
I have a feeling all the shinies I found in HG were to compensate for this utter stupidity >:I
