Vanilla is one of Team Justice's most reliable members. Though pretty sassy, she's a tough cookie who cares for others, and often willing to do what it takes to help those in need. If a fellow member is feeling down or being disrespected by another Pokémon, she'll never waste an opportunity to stand up for them and boost their confidence. While she's nowhere near the level of most of the members of Team Justice, like Phoenix or Tsunami, Vanilla is one of the team's strongest female members.

Origins:
During a visit to Waterfall Pond, Phoenix and Forest had come across a Miltank who was defeated by a large and intimidating Gyarados. Phoenix and Forest both rushed to her rescue, with Phoenix squaring off against the Gyarados and Forest attempting to carry the Miltank...with some difficulty due to her chunky physique.

Upon defeating the Gyarados and helping the Miltank, she would awaken and thank the duo, even revealing her name to be Vanilla. As a show of gratitude, Vanilla helped Team Justice make it through Waterfall Pond to find treasure at the end of the dungeon and even joined the team after their expedition was done.

Vanilla proved to be a valuable asset to Team Justice, as she was strong in battle and could heal others with Milk Drink. Outside of battle, Vanilla was quite supportive of others, and even developed an infatuation towards Phoenix.
