Remake of an old character of mine. The bg consists of cutouts of pictures I have taken this past year, but the wolf itself is completely hand drawn. I also don't remember where the butterflies came from, so sorry about not not having a link to the creator of that brush.
Previous called the Ice wolf or Dream wolf.
New name(s): Wolf of Frozen Dreams; Apparition of Frozen Dreams
Age: Unknown; Immortal
Form: Usually a Wolf with an Ice/Crystal outer bone structure on Face and Back. It has been known to change form before, however, none have remembered after waking
Color: Red/Brown
Height: About 4 feet high
This creature lives in the Plane of Dreams, feeding off the emotions of the dreamer whose dream it is occupying.
It has a horde of snow white butterflies that follows it and symbolize the coming of the wolf to a person in their dream.
One butterfly means that the wolf will just be passing by.
A few mean that your dream has caught it's interest and that it may stay and lurk and observe.
A swarm means that the wolf will alter the dream and you will lose control of what happens. In general, the "environment" of your dream usually slowly freezes over with whatever side "events" the wolf chooses to make happen to draw out an emotion from the dreamer on which it can feed.
It isn't really malicious when it changes dreams as it curious, however, that does not mean that it won't cause you harm if you are particularly stubborn in your dream.
It's natural eyes are shut, and it is unknown as to the reason why. It "sees" through the hole in the frozen skull like a third eye where a blue light shines through.
Those who are visited by the wolf are known to wake up shivering cold. The degree varies on how much interference the wolf had in your dream.
