I have a unique view of this classic Disney movie. Dumbo's feather to me represents religion. It's a crutch for those who lack self-confidence and need to believe in something bigger than themselves (in this case, a magical object that brings him the power of flying). When he loses it and still manages to fly, he learns he only needs to believe in himself to achieve his goals. Faith works with anything and everything. You can believe in a higher being, or in yourself. It's the result that matters.
I keep wondering is anyone else has ever thought of Dumbo's feather the same way?

The thing that gets me is when people talk about what a SHAMEFUL point in history it was that such "blatant racism" appeared in a kid's movie. To them, I just have one question: "Did you see the second Transformers movie?" B|
But on the real subject here; I love this picture. Your style does it well.

I guess I grew up in a good home because I never thought of any of the Disney movies as being raciest, I thought it gave character to the characters. There are people who talk like that so what's wrong with bringing that to a story. I mean it's like when people flamed about black zombies in re5 and left 4 dead 2! Its a game set in Africa and the other in new Orleans. Only seeing white zombies in those areas isn't accurate and I think it's racist not to show diversity. As a member of partial color i don't want to see everyone talking like Drew Carey.
