To get down to Main St in Lake Placid from the Crowne Plaza, you either walk down a steep staircase, or you walk the long curving driveway. Or, if you're Jayne wearing one of her trademark hobbledresses, you get aggravated at the stairs being too high each, and we end up taking a cab the length of the driveway...
