I like copics a lot, and I would say they are better. They cost at least twice as much though...

I use lots of paper, whatever i have. I like carsdtock the best, it absorbs the ink, but still makes it pretty blendable. Paper is kind of subjective. Experiment with lots of different kinds until you find theo ne that suits you best. :)
