New character and September pinup for the (now revived) Good Faeries/Bad Faeries collection!
Meet Amanita, a foxy lady with a love of all things mushroom, particularly the Fly Agaric variety. n_n Don't let her sweet smile fool you, she's deadly once you have a taste.
Over the next twelve months I will be adding new faeries to my personal roster and they will each feature in a monthly pinup with a companion sticker design that leans hard into the fae theme. They will be doing typical faerie things, some of them downright naughty and some of them a little more of a tease. When all is said and done I'll have a nice little 12-piece collection to use for either a portfolio or maybe even a calendar. Each month I'll also post a chrysalis to hint at the next month's character ( I do have a chrysalis for this girl but I missed the chance to post it, so it'll just go up alongside October's design).

Yeah an abundance of caution is smart when dealing with mushies, they’re beautiful to look at but I have a healthy respect for look-but-don’t-touch. I think foraging is a neat skill to have but I’d never trust myself enough to actually eat anything that I found.
Yeah, Sherwood (which is part of the area) actually had signs in two languages (English and Polish), telling people on the trails there NOT to touch the things! Generally speaking, if it's red and spotty don't touch the stuff! A lot of that sadly comes from poor knowledge of foraging, and the idea that the bright spotty ones are the ones that will get you high.
Not that people are totally wrong, fly amanita *has* Hallucinogenic properties. However, unless you're a Viking and you know how to brew the stuff so it won't poison you it's not worth trying!
