There are just no words to describe how awesome this is, finally a ref and my what a detailed and gorgeous one at that! I hope to get plenty of new commissions soon, of various kinds but this one is def a big stepping stone and just plain breathtaking. I'm so happy with how my derg turned out!
There's not a lot of lore in terms of the character, he's just a cool OC for me to identify with but he's still very much close and sentimental to me :3. Besides, a lot of the design choices have some deeper meaning, like the colors resembling those of a red tail boa, as suggested by a good friend.
