Once I made a reference for Az, I had to redesign his partner, Edward.
He is a native of Traora, and also a refugee, but from his own bitter and bloody past.
His body bears wounds from gladiator fights, and his heart is wounded from the death of his wife.
But since he found shelter in another world and people, only scars remain.

This reference was the hardest to work on because it was hard to design the snake so that it looked nice and the pattern would lay down fucking evenly.
(as you can see, I eventually gave up and went with the malachite stripes)
