Team Poképals Ticklish Sleep
After a day full of exploring and fighting dangerous enemies, Team Poképals earns a well-deserved rest in Sharpedo Bluff, but sometimes Turtwig ends up accidentally tasting the feet of his partner Chimchar; not that the grass-type Pokémon actually notices it while sleeping, nor does his friend, who giggles in his sleep as he feels those leaves and tongue tickling the soles of his feet and toes.

This was one of the winners of the poll I did a few days ago, since two options were very close in number of votes, I will do both; so the Renamon one will also be done.
Thanks to the people who participated in the poll and also to those who gave me some ideas in my journals.

Yeah, I'll keep making the polls, it makes it easier for me sometimes when having so much characters I want to draw.
Although, I don't think I'll make the Renamon pic this week, or at least on the next few days, as the goal of personal pics is not to feel rushed or burned out.
Thank you for your kind words.

Ooh!
This is definitely a rarity! Pokemon tickling, and Mystery Dungeon themed at that??
I'll put it out there, I definitely wasn't expecting to see this pop up anytime soon, not to mention without the knowledge of the polls you did, which I very much approve of.~
All still, a very unusual pairing, but a really neat one nonetheless~ <3
I think its been an unspoken rule for awhile that you always have this knack for killing it with alot of your artwork! Colors are vibrant, lively and eye catching, you've got a particular strength with poses and detail, and your expressions in alot of these are always a guilty pleasure~
I feel like this entry is no different~ Well, maybe a little better than most, being someone who may or may not have a Pokemon bias.. x33
I think uniqueness is hard to get with alot of the art that pertains to these, especially since you can usually only tickle someone so many ways.. Stocks, licks, tools, hands on, but with the perspective and posing to this one, your art definitely stands out~ Turtwig seated underneath Chimchar, tongue strolling between those toes, intimacy like this is rare, especially in a setting like this!
Chim's expression here is also really nice! Heavily detailed with that big grin and the watery eyes, adding to that more toony feel which is definitely synonymous with Pokemon in alot of cases~
I think your lighting is also very, very nice, definitely one of your strong suits i'd wager!
From the glow emanating above the stairs, the pinker color used as the sun reflects off the two, the usage of different hues to give the shading a much more colorful feel, and the brisk blue sky outside which I really love here!
Yeah, on all fronts here, I honestly feel like you hit the best strides with this, as your posts usually do~ <3
Definitely looking forward to your future polls, as well as your new art! I'll definitely be sure to stick around for the rest.~ ✦

Heey, thanks man, those are some really nice words to say.
My main goals for my own artstyle are expression, dynamism and flow (It's really boring for me to do stiff poses or without applying at least a bit of perspective). So I'm glad you say it, that means I'm doing it correctly and appealing.
Although I still have a bit of trouble with the lighting, the result wasn't quite as I wanted to be, not to mention I had to modify it like three or four times (The original lighting was too bluish for me taste).
Thank you a lot.
