Although Marbi could be called an Alolan Vulpix in this form and in his anthro form, I can just as easily say he is a kitsune as the Vulpix lines take inspiration from the kitsune. I might be tweaking Marbi's personality for his evolution; as he acts more like a child in this form, his evolution will be matured.
