This is my main fursona called Wild dog also known as Spots.
He is a representation of me as a fursona and he's my most favourite animal which is an African wild hunting dog native to most of Africa.
The species itself is in decline due to habitat loss, farmers and poaching so i want this species to increase in popularity on fa and beyond. There is only about 6,600 of them left in the wild so I decided that my main fursona should help spread the word about them.
There are multiple sub species of the African wild hunting dog which are: cape wild dog, east African wild dog, west African wild dog, somali wild dog and the chadian wild dog.
They can be found in subsharan Africa including Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Chad, South Africa, Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso and Niger
